Kenneth Plunk

Pastor Plunk married Loretta on June 2, 1956.   Together they raised three sons, two daughters and have thirteen grandchildren.

Pastor Plunk graduated from Baptist Bible College in May 1960.  He has been used of God to pastor churches in Oklahoma, Indianapolis, Ind.; Nashville, Tenn.; Iowa, and Houston, Tx.  In January of 2008 under the leadership of Pastor Plunk, Bandera Street Baptist Church of Houston merged with the Bayshore Baptist Church of Channelview to form South Drive Baptist Church of Channelview, Tx.

Fran Burkett

Saved February 14, 1983

Fran married Don Burkett on July 3, 1956.  They have served the Lord faithfully together since.

Fran has served the Lord in many capacities.  She has taught Sunday School classes for many years and is currently teaching First and Second grades in our children’s ministry.

Fran has served as the church secretary for more than Twenty years including the entire tenure of Pastor Plunk.
